Kristi has been part of UVA Health at the Wise Clinic since April 2024. With over two decades of nursing experience, she began her career in 1999 as an LPN, later advancing to an RN. Currently pursuing her BSN at Western Governors University, Kristi transitioned from bedside nursing to her current role at UVA's Student and Employee Health Wise Clinic, where she serves as the clinic’s RN.
Kristi holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale, specializing in ICU and Cardiac care. Her current position differs significantly from her previous roles, yet she finds it immensely fulfilling.
Outside of work, Kristi cherishes time with her family — she is married to her high school sweetheart, a proud mother of four (two boys and two girls), and a Nana to four grandchildren (also two boys and two girls). Her family is her top priority, and she enjoys activities such as reading, visiting the beach, and hiking. Besides her family, nursing remains her lifelong passion; Kristi cannot envision a career more rewarding than caring for others.
