Suzanne Malone is a dedicated professional currently involved in the Transitions of Care (TOC) program, overseeing patient transfers from the UVA Medical Center to local skilled nursing facilities. She brings a wealth of experience in public health, community health, ambulatory care, and long-term acute care hospital case management. Suzanne's extensive knowledge of community resources and local services ensures UVA Medical Center patients receive comprehensive care beyond the hospital setting.

A native Virginian, Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and is a proud graduate of the UVA School of Nursing. She deeply values collaboration and enjoys working with UVA Health team members and appreciates the diversity of both her colleagues and the patient population.

In addition to her healthcare expertise, Suzanne is a certified RYT-500 Yoga Teacher and Sound Bath Practitioner and is passionate about teaching yoga and guiding students through sound journeys to help alleviate stress. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking on local rivers, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband, three adult children, friends, and her beloved pets: a dog, a cat, and five hens.
