James graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Certificate in Public Administration. He also has a Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He has worked in case management in various forms for most of his career and joined the Population Health Department in 2017.
James was raised in a military family, which means he moved around quite a bit. As such, he got the traveler’s bug and loves to travel. In his free time, he likes going on hikes and drives to see the countryside. He also loves the beach.
