Adrian served as a Wellness Advocate with UVA’s BeWell initiative from 2017-2020, and in 2023, he returned to the Population Health Department to join the case management team. Adrian has a heart to serve and passion to support people to be their best selves. With over 30 years of ministry experience, over 21 years of being a Certified Personal Trainer, and more than 14 years of experience as a Certified Health and Well-being Coach, he has developed a skill set to connect with and support clients across a diverse range of backgrounds and age groups.
Adrian received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston. He then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Afterwards, he completed his Master of Science in Exercise Science from Pennsylvania Western University, California. Adrian is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Certified Health and Well-being Coach through Wellcoaches, and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, working out, shopping for great deals, and serving at his church.
